Results from the Melbourne Royal
Handsome Koda, at his first show in months, and we entered him in the Royal. He took 1st place in Junior Dog (only 1) and was a little star in the Challenge line up. He's really starting to look the part of a grown up show dog now. I couldn't be more proud. Thanks to Kelly-lee for putting in all the work to train him and love him. And for bringing the handsome guy for me to cuddle. I luffs him.
Aslak was not the judges cup of tea but we had a great time showing together again. He's always so happy to see me and we had some lovely cuddles today.
As for Summer I'd already told her she couldn't do better than 2nd, as i had plans for General Specials day, ie I didn't want to come back. It seemed she was listening as she took 2nd in her class and then the Reserve Bitch Challenge. Couldn't have been prouder of her. She spent the rest of the day being phantom pregnant - hormonal. Poor Summer. She couldn't even eat her beef ear.
All 3 dogs spent lots of time meeting the public and showing off, doing tricks, being adored and adorable. I'm quite sure i won't be the only one sleeping well tonight. I want to thank my roadie, Alice, her Mum, Linda and Leah for being an amazing support crew today and helping me keep everything together. What a day!
Up in Sydney, Leah has been busy training Wookie / Alleria (Ch. Caleebra Armani Diamond) in Obedience since she was a baby. As she matured, she ventured into Flyball training and just recently started training in Rally-Obedience. Imagine our complete joy and surprise when in the space of 4 days, Alleria and Leah gained 3 Qualifying scores in 3 Rally Novice Trials and has subsequently gained her Rally Novice title.
Alleria is our very first Caleebra baby who has earned a sports title and we are so incredibly proud of Alleria and Leah and the amazing future they'll have together.
