We were talked into entering the Christmas Show in Sydney this year. 'Oh it's great fun' they said.
It had a 5pm start so i thought i'd also enter Dolce as it shouldnt be too warm for him to show.
Mischa was entered in the Neuter class.
They were right, it was a great night, and a great show. But my goodness it was long.
Lappies weren't judged until 10:30pm. I was surprised Dolce and Mischa were still awake.
Dolce was fascinated by the children dancing nearby and entranced by all the DJ's lights and special effects.
Dolce showed like a little champion, taking BOB with Mischa taking Neuter of Breed. Nothing in group and i was glad to be driving out the gates just after 1am.
I rest the dogs over the warmest of the summer, our next show now isnt until Canberra Royal.
Mischa returned to the ring like nothing had happened. Now in the recently formed Neuter class, she's already attended 6 shows and picked up 32 points towards her Neuter Title. She just loves working and now that her hormones are settling she's become that sparky little girl we love 24/7. Our intention is to continue to show her occassionally along the way but focusing on other dog sports. Like Flyball and maybe some Agility.
We'll just see what happens. The future is unwritten
My gorgeous boy, the one who makes me laugh everyday and who is always up for a cuddle turns two today.
He's just a lovely Lappie, who reminds me so much of his parents, whom i adore. I give silent thanks every single day to Jacqualine Lincoln at Armahani for actually putting him on the plane to come home to me.
