My beautiful girl. My first Lappie. Mischa turned 3 today. She was the easiest puppy to train. So people-focused, so keen to please and happiest when she was training and earning praise and rewards. She played fetch (which i later learnt was NOT a common trait associated with Lappies) and loves cuddles and sleeping on the bed. Not that she was a hellion as a puppy but her seasons made her noticeably softer and sooky. Our very sweet girl suffered through very hormonal seasons which were 4-5months apart.Diagnosed with GRD in mid 2011 she was desexed the instant she came out of her last phantom pregnancy, just after her 2nd birthday, almost a year ago.
To think back on how far we've come in a year is mind-blowing. Almost overnight we had our sparky girl back. Whilst i'm still sad sometimes to think she won't pass on her qualities to offspring, She has a love of life, a sassiness and a look of mischief and intelligence in her eyes no one could begrudge her. Every day with Mischa now is fun-filled and energetic. And she's going to need it to keep up with the pack. We dearly love our precious girl and look forward to spending many more years together.
