We've just returned from 3 days of showing in Sydney. Shell secured us a fabulous spot and we became a bit of a drop-in centre. Whilst the Lappies didnt come away with any spectacular wins, we had a great time just catching up with all the friends we don't get to see often and of course admire all the Lappies. We received a lot of admiring glances and queries regarding the breed and some of the Lappies used their special brand of charm to woo the general public. And what a crew we had.
From Victoria, Armahani came up with her 4-pack and Mel Scriven brought Mischa's big brother Ahti. Always alike as puppies, It was still amazing to see just how similar the two of them are now that theyre all grown up.
From NSW we had our two, Snofyre and Ausvarg Kennels brought their Lappies, Libby (though very much under the weather) brought the very pretty Vienna up on Saturday and Jaime had Demi entered. We also had the pleasure of puppy cuddles from two Orical Kennels babies: Hula and Annika. There were also several ring-ins including 2 Keeshonds, 2 Japanese Spitz and one 'scary/ugly/adorable' Siberian 'Zero'.
It was a fabulous weekend with even more awesome company.
Of course, there will be photos. later
