June 2023 - Show Scene Introductions, Farewells and Success

First up

Miss Pebbles and Nicole had their first foray into the show ring over the weekend - with the little lady taking everything in stride and receiving some lovely compliments from both judges and fellow exhibitors.

4 shows over 2 days, I couldn’t be prouder with how she handled herself .
 

Then Saturday Mr. Dolce - Ch. Armahani Crystal Caibmat RE - turned on the charm and got cuddles, treats, cuddles, a trot around the ring for the Veterans Parade, more treats and cuddles.

He loved it and I was so happy to see him so happy and humbled by the love of the community who all spent some time loving on him, knowing his health is failing and it might be the last time they'll see him.

 Anarchy     Ch. Caleebra Summer Sweetheart (AI)

Best Exhibit in Show at the Finnish Lapphund Club Open Show.

She loves showing though after 12 laps even she'd calmed down and seemed a little over it all. If I'd had a mouse or lizard or something to spice up the laps it would be a different story.

She backed it up with a nice Runner up Best of Breed at the Spitz speciality the following day.

And all while coming out of a phantom that had her curled up, moody and snoozing most of the week.

I'm so proud of how she dug deep to give it her all this weekend.

Seems she's over it now as she's been racing around like a thing possessed since Tuesday. Oh hormones, how we dislike thee.
