Winter was the 6th puppy born in our Fearless Litter. Whilst all the puppies tug at the heartstrings, Winter, got under my skin without me even realising. She seemed to decide quite early on that she wasn't going anywhere. And so she stayed.

Winter reminded me so much of her mummy, Summer. We adore Summer and we've let her puppies slip away before so we're quite happy to have Winter at home with us. Though we can't help but feel we didn't really make the decision, and that it was made for us.
Winter's sire is the handsome Rölli. I've been a fan of his for so long and been so excited about this litter, and that certainly had to influence my reluctance to let Winter leave. 

Winter attained her title against her Mum and other tough competition. But the show ring wasn't really her happy place so we didn't really push it any further.
From about 10 months of age though she would assist our Mums with raising puppies. From the first litter born after her, she's convinced each and every Mum to let her visit the babies while they were still in the whelping box, and later, when they were old enough to be outside she would join them. She loved introducing them to the outside world, new toys, new adventures. She'd happily babysit for hours and then play with the Mums. Truly the most wonderful puppy raiser.
She went on to have 2 litters for us. The Hearts litter in mid 2019 and 18 months later, the Hearts & Hiro's at the end of 2020. In 2023 she helped Autumn raise her grandbabies, sneaking into the whelping box during a phantom maternal phase and refusing to move as the pups had fallen asleep resting over her feet. She loves babys and loves playing and likes to make Mums feel safe and comfortable. She's a one in a million girl who doesn't like to create a fuss or have a fuss made over her but is the sweetest girl and a treasure to have at home.
